Yes 2020 Canada Conference

Be Empowered

The Youth Empowerment or Advocacy Summit is an annual 5 days-long youth leadership event that will be hosted by SNCC in Canada. Our mission throughout the week is to educate and empower young change makers to become outstanding community advocates. This is done by learning about issues through experts, developing leadership, organizing skills, and meeting with elected officials. After the youth advocate summit, participants are expected to speak, tutor, coach and mentor younger people and their community, lead volunteering and advocacy engagement campaigns at school and public places, speak at media and press conferences, and represent their community in a variety of actions through participation in community programs.

Be A Role Model

The skills taught at the annual summit are life skills that empower participants in their future as community activists, entrepreneur and leaders in their countries. We encourage you to apply and join the pipeline of future leaders for the Greater Global Change Makers community- SNCC Ambassador of Change!
